benzo-a-pyrene

Benzo-a-pyrene (BaP) is a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH), formula C20H12, consisting of five fused aromatic rings.

BaP, a very strong carcinogen, has been found in soot particles and other solid by-products of combustion.
