Arrhenius equation

A relation used to describe the temperature dependence of the rate coefficient for a chemical reaction.

The form of the equation is

where k is the rate coefficient, A is the preexponential factor, Ea is the activation energy for the reaction, R is the gas constant, and T is the absolute temperature.
