Philippines Current

One of the western boundary currents of the North Pacific subtropical gyre.

It flows northward from just north of Mindanao (10°N) to Taiwan where it continues as the Kuroshio. It is fed from the North Equatorial Current, from which it continues to entrain water along its way.
