annual range

From Glossary of Meteorology
Within a prescribed annual period, the difference between the maximum and the minimum value of a given set of numbers or of a temporally varying function.


See range.

Any function of time f(t) is periodic with period t if f(t) = f(t + τ) for all times t, where τ is the smallest number for which this equality holds.
